Appliances continue to be delayed!

I ordered 4 Thermador appliances on April 22. We’ve been told 4 TIMES that our order is scheduled for delivery and it just keeps getting canceled and delayed. We speak over $10K on these appliances and continue to be lied to by customer service about the delivery date.

I’m seeing many posts about this same topic. Best Buy needs to do better and stop lying to their customers.

Getting new appliances is meant to be an exciting time, and it should be a smooth process. This is not the experience I’d expect for you. While we do everything we can to ensure orders are available quickly, sometimes there may be delays due to circumstances beyond our control. I’d be happy to see how I can assist you further.

I replied to two private messages with no solutions provided. A vendor delay doesn’t explain the continual scheduling and last minute cancellation of delivery appointments. If the appliances aren’t available, why am I being scheduled for a delivery now 5 times?

Based on the provided “in stock” date from the vendor themselves. When they drop the ball and fail to uphold that date the only option is for the delivery to be rescheduled.

Been on hold twice today waiting for an update. Currently on hold for 50 minutes. At this point I think Ann the customer service rep isn’t coming back. Call reference number {removed per forum guidelines}.

Being on hold for any amount of time is no fun, but the representative should get back on the line. Do you have a work order number I can look at? If so please send it to me via private message.

It sure does sound frustrating, but I've read several articles recently talking about appliances shortages, just like many other things in today's environment. While it can be confusing as if you go to BestBuy.com, or Samsung.com, or Lowes... they appear to have all kinds of stuff in stock and ready to go, but there are reports of trouble fulfilling orders all over the internet, apparently.

She never came back on the line. I was able to find the products locally and have successfully canceled my Best Buy order. I would suggest anyone to search locally before going with Beet Buy. I received the same appliances for the same price and they’re IN STOCK at this local Thermador dealer. It pays to shop local.
