Another Best Buy delivery failure

Delivery guy took off this morning and went AWOL.  I spoke with him on the phone that I was driving my son to school.


So I got a phone call that I needed to be there before 8:22 am because he reported in at 8:07 am.


I got there at 8:18 am expecting the truck to be there and my appliance waiting to be delivered.  He should have unloaded and been waiting at the door.  It was sunny and nice out.


I called the delivery company, got transferred to the dude that called...he called the delivery guy to come back to my house...and the driver REFUSED his bosses orders and REFUSED to follow policy.


Wow, that takes a lot of nerve and the phone dispatcher told me he was arguing about it with the delivery guy for several minutes and still he just refuses to do his job and doesn't care.


Well, today should be his last day.  I look forward to his explanation if I ever get my appliance delivered.  I hope to see him soon.


Anyway, I just wanted to comment on this because I deserve to be compensated for taking time off from work and these 3rd party delivery guys are terrible.


I requested that this guy NOT deliver my appliance but, honestly he shouldn't be working at his job anyway.
