17 days and waiting for TV DELIVERY

I apologize for this email for as it seems it has been happening waaaaaay to often to other people on this site.     So I apologize for people in advance for bringing back bad memories.      Well to start I must say I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH GEEK SQUAD OR BEST BUY.

I bought a 65 inch samsung in April of 2020 that went bad.   Used my warranty for another 65 inch to be delivered on the 13th of December 4-8.       Not only did I take off of work,   I did not recieve a phone call from the installers.    So I called Best Buy and was told "we can't get in touch with them for they aren't answering."    Mind boggling isn't?   Wait....... it gets better.   Keep reading.

At 9:30pm the installer calls and said sir we didn't have you on the list till 4pm?!    We apologize.   So i'm like ok,  smile regroup let's set it up again.

I re-schedule it now for the 7-1 DECEMBER 30TH time slot for you know it can't happen again can it?    7-1 came no phone call & by the way was assured twice thru best buy on the phone help THEY ARE COMING WE PROMISE......

At 1:30 I call and the BEST BUY REP says I'm going to call Install Inc that's our 3rd party people that do the install.

Ok....   he goes on the phone and gets back to me..... "UM SIR,  THIER UGH VAN UGH BROKE DOWN"   Now.   I'm not going to lie I started laughing out loud.     He says their dispatch swore and promised (again for the 2nd time) they would come for from 3-6.

Fast forward to 6.    NO Show, NO call.    I call Install Inc and the woman literally said to me,  "Um, I don't know what to tell you they aren't answering the phone."

I reply,  "does it happen often?"    She answers, "listen I don't know what to tell and tell the others.   I don't know what's up about this place."    She said she would email her supervisor and I said to here politely... "what will that do?"

She replied probably nothing....     So this morning get this....... I get an email stating I need to make an appointment.  LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!

SO.... HERE I AM on New Year's Eve with a TV about to fizzle out.         Is there anyone at Best Buy that's a problem solver?

I'm going in person to settle this.    This post was meant to tell people to NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Thank you for posting on our forum regarding your recent purchase. Buying a new television is exciting, so it's hard to hear your experience with getting one delivered. I can understand wanting this addressed. It's troubling to hear about the interactions you had with our phone support and Installs, Inc. Don’t waste your time giving out your name and other information because they don’t solve anything!! We were told that many times and we had to end up getting a refund and went to lowes!

I finally got so fed up I went to the store to talk to someone.
The manager there was so understanding and literary told me to NEVER EVER CALL CORPORATE FOR NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
Can you imagine being told that. He told me to always come in person and that everyone who works with Best Buy knows and hears of the THOUSANDS of complaints.
Got my tv that day in a in house trade in.
My advice to anyone dealing with any issues is to physically show up and explain the problem for it will get done or rectified.

I am glad a store leader was able to get this resolved. We are aware that at times going to a store is not an option, and I am not sure what number you originally contacted regarding your television. In the future, we do have a team that handles large products like televisions and appliances and they can be reached at (800) 304-1259.
