All purchases made from Best Buy — online or in store — can be returned to any Best Buy store in the U.S. It's fast and free. Sometimes there may be circumstances that prevent a return from being made in-store and we understand that. In addition to in-store returns, we also offer returns by mail, or by appointment with a qualified delivery or installed product.



Return in Store

You may return any item purchased on at any Best Buy store. For faster return processing, please bring your receipt or packing slip, the credit card used to make your purchase, and a valid photo ID.


Return by Mail via the Carrier of Your Choice

Place the Return Form portion of your packing slip in the box with your return. If you do not have your packing slip, you may get a pre-populated Return Form by looking up your order. If you can't locate your order, print a blank Return Form and fill it out. Then, place the completed form in the box with your return. Put the return label on the package, add postage and mail it via the carrier of your choice.


Return by Mail - Prepaid Label

Pay nothing up front. Follow the instructions for printing a Prepaid Return Label. Include the packing slip or Return Form in the box with your return. Put the prepaid return label on the package and take it to an authorized UPS drop-off location. The return shipping fee may be deducted from your refund.


Return by Appointment

This option is available on products that were originally delivered or installed by us. You can schedule a return appointment by calling us at 1-888-BEST-BUY.
