used insignia tablet won't let me create account

I just bought an Insignia NS P10A7100 used from my workplace.  In the setup there is no option to 'CREATE ACCOUNT'.  It is asking to verify a gmail account that is associated with the tablet.  Is there any way around this?  Ideas please.

There's usually a built-in way to restore those tablets back to factory settings. It's a random combination of holding down the power button and volume up or down when starting the tablet up.
If I had to guess, I'd say hold the power button and volume down when you start the device until it loads into the boot menu. There should be a way to restore it there.

Thank you I will try that. What will I see after doing that? I am not tech savvy clearly....wondering what to expect from there.

Hi, rosiet, 

After resetting your Insignia tablet back to factory settings, you should power the tablet back on and be able to set up the tablet as if it were a new device, selecting your preferred language and other settings.
