I was going to buy this computer but it went out of stock when I went back to buy it.

Will best buy restock this item soon?

They should restock it.  

I am not 100% on this but my belief is when a certain item is in fairly high demand they will take only so many back orders before listing is as sold out online.  They don't want to get to much of a gap between demand and supply.

Or it could have been cleared out and they are waiting until the last one ships before removing it from the system.

I was in the market for a particular computer that they had listed this way for about 10 days. I finally purchased the next size up.  That particular model is now no longer listed.

Your best bet is to call the store in the morning when they open and check - sometimes they get inventory of a particular item back in. If its a deal too good to be true its probably only a promo and a few items were in.

to add to that, IF they have what you want in stock and it is not available online, generally it has been my experience that if you ask they will hold it for you at the front desk.

This is probably a coincidence but the computer I was just about to buy, https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberpowerpc-gamer-ultra-desktop-amd-fx-series-16gb-memory-nvidia-gefor... was "Out of stock" as well.

Well post holiday inventories are depleted everywhere. 

Especially a computer like that one which as a great price and was very popular over the last month.

Looking at this one however and the way it is listed 

I am leading to think it is a discontinued model.  It is listed for in store pick up only becaues there are only so many left.

I really hope it's not discontinued. I noticed the dates in which people were discussing this product being out of stock, all the way back in 2014. I wonder if it ever was back in stock since then?! I am looking for a laptop that has a VGA port and this one had one, so I was excited about that.
