When Geek Squad set up my Mac, the tech put the word "owner" on the home screen.  That word also appears in one of my email addressess and it has resulted in some recipients of mmy email not opening the email because they are suspicious.  How do I replace the word "owner" with my name?

Dig around in the settings 

In the search area of settings search for name.  You should be able to adjust it there

In regards to changing your name on your Mac, you should be able to follow this guide. As far as changing your name on your email, that should also be possible! However, we would need more details such as what email provider you are using, if you are using the built-in mail app, etc. If you need assistance with any of these processes, please feel free to schedule an appointment at your local Best Buy store.
