My kindle fire will not always stay connected to wifi, even tho' there is no problem with the wifi service. If I reset, it will reconnect, but not always stay connected. Is there a fix for this or will I need to get a new kindle when I am tired of wrestling with the wifi?

Also, it no longer will connect to a zoom meeting, although I can begin and conduct a meeting (until the wifi kicks out).

Consistent and stable access to WiFi is one of the most important functions of any new piece of technology, so I certainly understand how you must be feeling after experiencing these issues with your Fire tablet. One of the first steps in troubleshooting a tablet with connectivity issues is to verify that the issue continues to occur when moved to a different WiFi network, such as a library or coffee shop. If the device is working properly there, you may want to do some troubleshooting on your home WiFi setup with your service provider. If the issue continues no matter the location, you can look into the Fire tablet's options to reset the connection options or even perform a hard reset.

It has only recently started to do this (last couple of months), and it happens with other wifi sources as well. Other devices work fine on my wifi.

You can check to see if your tablet has premium wifi or just Wireless B/G/N , Newer devices should have Wireless AC. However these networks on ISP owned routers can be combined into a single channel. I have a laptop that has the faster band capability but it always connects to the Wireless N side of the combination. If you can split the networks into two , do that and see if you have better connectivity.
