Thanks for reaching out. A locked tablet sure can be a pain.
Do you have the model number of that tablet? The way to reset it will depend on that. I may be able to give you some tips on how to do that with the model number.

Thanks for confirming that.
It looks like you'll need to run a factory reset at this point. You can get that started by powering the tablet off, ant then holding the power button for eight seconds. This should let you do the reset and get in to the tablet. It will delete everything on the tablet, but you can then get started using it again.

In that case, you can give Insignia support a call at (877) 467-4289 to see if any additional troubleshooting is possible. We may need to get hands on with it at Geek Squad once we reopen if phone support isn't able to assist, but I hope that phone support can get this all set for you.
