insignia tablet

Trying to unlock my insignia tablet because I don’t remember the pattern code and I don’t have access to a computer. I just have my cell phone that’s it!

Thanks for reaching out. A locked tablet sure can be a pain.

 

Do you have the model number of that tablet? The way to reset it will depend on that. I may be able to give you some tips on how to do that with the model number.

Hi, Michael41,

 

Thanks for confirming that.

 

It looks like you'll need to run a factory reset at this point. You can get that started by powering the tablet off, ant then holding the power button for eight seconds. This should let you do the reset and get in to the tablet. It will delete everything on the tablet, but you can then get started using it again.

No sir it still pops up to the screen it says to start android draw your pattern

So I held down the power button and the volume down button and the screen popped up with a bunch of Japanese letters all over ,,

In that case, you can give Insignia support a call at (877) 467-4289 to see if any additional troubleshooting is possible. We may need to get hands on with it at Geek Squad once we reopen if phone support isn't able to assist, but I hope that phone support can get this all set for you.

Thanks for all your help today I actually found out how to do it myself by fooling with the buttons ! And it’s the power/volume + together, then factory restart and so on ! Thing was That every time I hit factory set it wasn’t doing anything and then it will go back to a regular screen but it finally worked thank God you have a wonderful day or evening
