However you will need to check the specifice Surface you have to the charger.

I am not 100% on this. If you purchase a charger for your Surface that is not the Microsoft OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) you may void your warrenty.

Yeah what bobberuchi said - I know some companies are anall with customers using chargers from third parties. Some hardware can even detect the type and brand of charger being used too. So always use original brand chargers where possible.

You might be able to order a replacement charger from Microsoft. Another alternative would be to purchase the Surface Dock (if you had a need for the functionality). Lastly, check eBay or Amazon to see if there are any listed.
