Windows Anniversary Edition

It appears my HP External USB 3.0 1TB Drive is not recognized after updating to the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition. At first I thought this problem affects all USB 3.0 devices but I've isolated this issue to devices plugged in which reports in Device Manager as a Exteral SCSI USB Drive.

do you have to sign up for the update. I do not believe I have updated yet.

Re: Windows Anniversary Edition

I found an official insider link off of the internet that lets me download the ISO image directly for Windows 10. You still have to have a valid product installation in order to upgrade, or to do a clean install, Windows 10 needs to already be on the main machine.

And to answer your question, it's already on Windows update, so you can trigger an update right now but it takes awhile to complete.
