I was looking at samsung's new notebook 7 spin, but I don't see on best buy's website or samsung's what material the laptop is made from. Is it aluminum or plastic?
Also is there one that comes in 2K or 4K, or is 1080p the best they offer?
Would the notebook 9 be a better device?
I've had 7 laptops since last may, I can't have another expensive laptop not work. I have a new hp spectre and dell xps collecting dust on a shelf because they barely work or in the case of the dell crashes when I turn it on. Geek squad won't fix them despite having one of the best protection plans, and its been too long to return them.
I live 40-50 mins from best buy, so it's not exactly easy to take a pc, and then when geek squad claims they have fixed them and I return home, it is not easy to bring them back. The spectre has a issue that can't be fixed, its a office issues. Microsoft issued a patch but it hasn't fixed it yet, just made it a little better. And the dell isn't worth the price of me taking it to another repair store. It's just a bad computer even without the crashing
All I want is a laptop to use Microsoft office and google with and yet I can't find one to do those simple tasks...
And I know there are really good gaming laptops, but for me to buy one would be a waste. I would only use it for office since I have a gaming desktop I built myself (The only pc that has ever worked aside from a sony viao I had for a year)
And I have a mac, worst computer I have ever had. Three hard drives in two years... and now the 4th is failing and it doesn't let me sign in and of course geek squad won't fix that. It's in a box under a bed but I can't get rid of it because it has important pictures.

In your previous postings, Best Buy had suggested a remedy for you to take it back to the store and get it resolved if you are still having issues with the unit.
I am not an expert on Dell, but I do know @SoMeAm-HP is an authorized rep of Hewlett Packard so if you're encountering any problems, she is your best line of advice for helping you determine the right course of action with your HP unit.
Now what are you looking to do with this notebook? A review onlline said they attempted to test that notebook for HD content specifically made available on NetFlix in the highest resolution but were unable to tell the difference due to the size of the laptop. You may notice it more plugged into a monitor that supports it.

Not good that you're having issues with computer, hopefully it will go better with this one.
I read an article online and it says the spin 7 has an aluminum chasis.

(Not sure if this link will be allowed to stay) but this link does have some really good write-ups on it.
