Weird Monitor Display

So last night I was playing with a few friends and as soon as I was heading out, my 2 monitors just turned off. I didnt think much of it until I turned it on today and the hdmi and display ports on my graphics card were not working. Only one HDMI port is functioning but it has these pink/purple lines displayed and everything was extremely blurry and pixelated. I turned it off and disconnected then reconnected all the cables in hopes that it would go back to normal but I’m not too sure what’s going on. Maybe the graphics card collected a lot of dust and it is screwing up the display or something but right now im not too sure what is going on. If anyone could help, it would be appreciated.

Re: Weird Monitor Display

if you can get your hands on a monitor that was not involved in the issue try hooking that up first.

That will give a clue if it is a montor or other issue

Re: Weird Monitor Display

That does sound like a strange graphics card issue! First, we can start with a few troubleshooting steps.

1. Try with a different cord that you know works. This will allow us to test if it is an issue with the cords.

2. Try with a different display that you know works. This will allow us to test if it is an issue with the display.

3. Ensure that your drivers are completely updated to the most up-to-date drivers available from the manufacturer.

If none of this works, we'll want to look at our next options available. When was this purchased? This will help us know if you are still within our Return & Exchange Promise.
