I was wondering, are the newer generations of My Book from WD still using AC Adapters? I am kind of looking for a USB Hub to add to my Dell G3 3590 as I am running out of storage between 6TB of games, XBOX Ultimate really spoils me and rather than delete a game since I know first party MS games are here to stay, I don't want to uninstall them.

Hello, hockeycanuckjc,
It's always nice to hear from you!
So many games, so little time (and storage). I can understand wanting to add some additional storage to your system. Most of the larger capacity My Books still use an AC adapter. Some of the smaller capacity portable drives can be connected up without an additional power source. If there's a specific model or capacity that you're interested in, let me know! I'm happy to help get you a more precise answer.
Best,

Thanks, I'm going to do some further research this weekend and see what my options are as I see a lot of choices I can utilize. A lot of good games are being added to XBOX Ultimate and I may need more storage. Its nice to have a full library between PC and XBOX One for the same price.

hockeycanuckjc,
I have to hard agree! I just added 3TB of internal storage heavily motivated by some of the new games popping up on GamePass.
If any additional questions come up, please let us know here.
