Truth be told you don't need to upgrade.
Most games are designed to work on 8 GB of Ram or less. Look a the system requirements and recomendations for a number of games on the market today.
Almost all of them recommend 8 GB of RAM. What will be of more importance for your game play is the GPU. Your is a GTX 1060 which will allow you to play games at a very intense level.
Where you would want more ram and cpu power is if you were doing a lot of photo and video editing.

I agree. The computer's specs look good. Unless it will be used for very processor intensive tasks, it should be fine.

If you want to upgrade RAM you should have Geek Squad do it. However, that servcie itself is not cheap

Yes, you should upgrade the versions of the OS. The update is very necessary to make the system runs properly and to make the update install you have to do the process of the {removed per forum guidelines}

Personally, I wouldn't upgrade. 8 gigs should be just fine.
