Review

[ Edited ]

I purchased a Optiplex 9020 serial number {removed per forum guidelines} and was unaware that it was refurbished until I received the box labeled refurbished. Initially I felt I was chaeted however have found the hard drive meets my needs. One concern I have is a cylinder started flashing on the hard drive which did not flash originally when I set it up. I have tech support so if things start acting up I will have to bruing it in. I trust Joysystems' refurbishing service. The card enclosed to write a review and "tell us how you feel" was quite confusing! I did want to inform Best Buy as apprehensive as I was and still am, the hard drive is serving the purpose so far. Thank you.

Re: Review

The "hard drive" is a component inside the tower that generally doesnt have any lights on.it.

The tower might have a light that.blinks when it accesses the drive. This is normal.

Re: Review

Hello, Consumer-4,

Welcome to the Best Buy Forums!

Nckhammond is right on with his response. The light next to the little cylindrical image on your desktop will sporadically light up when the hard drive (the internal part of the desktop that stores data) is accessed to perform certain tasks. This is not something that is typically cause for concern.

If you think of any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. If you determine that the desktop does not fit your needs, please check out our Return & Exchange Promise to determine any next steps that might be available to you.

Best,
