Reinstalling XP after HDD replacement

I have the eReocovery boot-up CD and it boots and looks like it's restoring data to the hard drive.  But, when it's done, I can't find c:\ drive nor does the laptop boot up to the OS.  So, I tried using Partition magic to make sure it's formatted properly.  Everything appears to be on c:\  and the drive is active-primary with a small amount of unallocated space after the c:\ partition.  Any reason why I can't see it?  Do I need something more than the Acer eRecovery CD and the Partition Magic?

Re: Reinstalling XP after HDD replacement

Try recovering it one more time. I remember for a short time I had to wipe out Vista and use the XP eRecovery discs but had the problem you had. Restoring it one more time fixed the issue.
