Hi! I am also planning to buy one for my kid. Can you consider it as a kid-friendly tablet? Just wanna know before I purchase

I have been down the road back and forth on this with my kids.

Truely kid friendly is a matter of the parents monitoring what goes on it and keeping the conrtol for themselves.

However, your kids can probalby master a regular tablet.

My 3 year old grandaughter can grab her mommys iPad and in a few minutes be watching Disney shows. 

It really is the content you allow.  to that end there is a great product called Amazon FreeTime

It was originally designed for the Fire Kids tablet but it is also compatible with Android and iOS tablets, Kindle and Echo
