I purchased a Samsung R580 as it was advertised as coming with Wi Di (Wireless Display Technology). However now I have found through Samsung Chat that Samsung does not have any Laptops with this technology? I purchased this Laptop so I could use this new technology and according to Best Buy sales it would be capable of it. So why the false advertising?

This is the website to the laptop via Samsung. I am not noting any Wi Di, but a search of other websites revealed that *everyone* seems to think this model has Wi Di.
Here is Intel's website explaining WiDi, for reference.
Have you connected Netgear's adapter to it yet? It wouldn't work without it.
You might do a search in your Device Manager to see if the WiDi driver(s) exist. For a refrence, check here:

Yes, the simplist solution to solve this issue would of been to walk over to the display model, but I don't work in the store. I work for bestbuy.com - no access to the actual product Thanks for verifying the information, Riot!
