your windows xp/vista comes with firewall so any thing you get shouldn't have to worry much about it.

any antivirus programs out tehre have firewall, antivirus, antispam, apssword vault, etc

routers-wise i'd recommend to go with Linksys.

Sorry, I don't use Windows XP/Vista firewall.  I turn them off and use what I know really works.
