I'm sure it's strange to see that your screen has gone pink. While it's not common, it sounds like there may be a failure in either the screen panel or the cables that connect to the board. I would suggest giving a Best Buy store a visit to talk about this issue with our Geek Squad agents. They'll be better suited to help see what solutions may be available.

Be advised though that many local Best Buys now you need to have an appointment to talk to a Geek Squad member.

At first I was miffed by this but really helps to reduce wait times. You have a 2:30 appointment and show up at 2:25 you are being seen by 2:30. I have gone in a few times and waited in chairs for a good 30 minutes or more in line.
