I have new PC but I have internet problem. If I use Linux everything is OK but I need use windows 7 because I have enough PC for playing games If I use proxy website I can go to some website but if I don't use proxy website I can't go. Some videos on yet I can watching some of them not. In my mom notebook on windows 7 everything is OK. Please help me if you can.

To add to that, are you from the US and do you have any anti-virus software running?

I use proxy website because normally I can't open some website like facebook. I buy this pc on best buy in us

Not to get into any political discussion or what have you, but if you reside in a country that blocks certain pages, it might be against the forums guidelines and rules to assist you with circumventing this. So please be sure what you are asking is legal in the country you reside in.

If its overriding parental controls, we can't help you with that either.

Also, not having antivirus means that you probably have viruses that are affecting your ability to access the internet.  You do not have to download anything to get infected.  In todays world, you can become infected just by visiting a website.

I agree having an antivirus and firewall is essential in this modern world.  However, did you activate the FREE windows firewalls and antivirus software that comes with Windows?

yes but that not a problem and I don't have parent control because i'm 18

From what it sounds like, you say that you can get to sites OK when using Linux, but not Windows, correct? If so, then there's something wrong with your OS.
