No CD drive for USB 2.0 to ethernet adapter

Hello,

I checked the website for the USb 2.0 to ethernet adapter driver since my mac doesn't have a CD drive (NS-PU98505), but the website only has the driver for the USB 3.0 to ethernet adapter. Can someone link me the proper software? Otherwise, this is literally 20 dollars in the trash

What OS?

These items should be plug and play, run a Windows Update if you are missing a driver.

Re: No CD drive for USB 2.0 to ethernet adapter

I can't find any drivers available online for this device. Your best bet would probably be to use a computer with a DVD drive and then use a USB flash drive to copy the drivers over to your mac. You could also get a USB optical drive which would give you a DVD player, but there's really no good solution here.

Re: No CD drive for USB 2.0 to ethernet adapter

Windows 10 is very comprehensive driver wise and has a large library of drivers. Your best bet is to just plug it in and see if it installs. Even if it runs off of a generic driver it still is fully functional as many hardware inside is just generic, the custom Insignia / Dynex drivers just enhance functionality - not a neccessity for basic or intended basic use.

I believe they said they have a Mac. I'm not sure if there are any built-in/generic drivers available for OSX.
