I called Insignia Support as you suggested. After I told the technician what was happening with my tablet, he informed it was still under warranty and I should take it to The Geek Squad at my local Best Buy.


The technician at Geek Squad started up the tablet and it immediately started bringing up error messages like it has been for months now. He ended up refunding the purchase price back to me so I could try to find something compareable. This particular tablet is no longer available and they had nothing like it.


I ended up adding a few dollars and got a Samsung Chromebook. It runs most of the Androind apps and it appears to be more stable than the tablet was. So far, I am happy with it.


Just so people know, I was informed by several people at the store that people who had purchased this tablet had the same issues I did. If anyone reading this is having problems with theirs and it is still under warranty, get to Best Buy and get something else while you can.
