I have an Insignia Flex 11.6" Windows 10 tablet. Windows 10 just instaled its latest "update" (which of course means they broke something.) Now my audio does not work.
In the device manager, it says the "Intel SST audio" driver is properly installed (no yellow warning sign), but the speaker in thetray has an X on it and I have no sound.
I'm fairly certain this tablet uses a "Realtek" audio device, but I can't confirm. And I have no idea what driver I need to get my audio back.
"Windows Update" just keeps reinstalling the same non-working Intel audio driver.
What audio driver does this tablet need? TIA

sorry should have been more specific.. "bay trail" is both the intel cpu and chipset, so most any bay trail windows tablet drivers should get you what you need. I know lenovo makes one...

Lenovo Miix 2 10 Tablet - has bay trail win 10 x32 drivers.. all of them...if you install the grafics and chipset drivers you may find the audio works again

Thanks. I found their 32bit Win10 driver package here:
I'll try it at work Tuesaday. Thx.

The RealTek Drivers can be tricky to determine the right one but I've found out that many onboard audio uses the same solution unless you have a different chipset which means they add Dolby sound to their chip and so forth.
Sorry but it's conusing. If somehow you have a USB port or you can get an OTG adapter you could add in a USB Sound solution which will work with the generic USB Audio driver.
Good luck on that. I dislike driver hunting
