Hi,
I am currently using the asus mg279q and ended up having a dead ant trapped inside the monitor (between the glass and the screen) so it appears like two dead pixels. I was wondering if best buy would be able to remove it and if so how much it might cost?
Thanks.

Well that is a new one I must say.
Monitor reapair for something like that could be tricky. the layer between the display and the glass could be a problem to get apart. And I think it would cost a hefty minimum.
But you may want to go in and talk directly to a geek squad person.

Hello, LittleYo10.
Welcome to our community! I have to agree that I've never seen a dead insect trapped in a screen before, but I'm sure you're ready to get it out of your monitor. From what I understand, monitor repairs can be quite costly—sometimes more expensive than a new monitor may cost—so I would have to echo @bobberuchi's suggestion of swinging by your local Best Buy store and speaking with a Geek Squad Agent to see if this is possible and how much it may cost.
Best,
