MacBook Pro 2019 Question 15'



I hope someone can help me out with my Question about my macbook pro. I try to update to macos 12 and now my macbook pro get a startup need to be update error with a usb mac installer and even when i try to upgrade from big Sur same prob.


My other question if my macbook pro out of  support would i need to add 3 more years support on with it? Well it should be my prob because it happon when i update the macos.



I think it the T2 chip  my not sure. I hope to hear far someone soon.

Thank you for taking time to message us about this and bring it to our attention. I'm sorry to hear that you're running into issues with your MacBook Pro after this recent update. If you have a 2019 model, it should be more than capable and compatible with MacOS 12. So, it sounds like there may be something else wrong with the operating system. From my time working in Geek Squad, any number of things can cause something like this. For example, if the internet drops when doing a major update like this, it can send the unit into this "recovery" loop. 


At this point, if you are just outside of your warranty period, we could still set you up with an appointment at your local Best Buy to see if we can figure it out in person. Could be a compatible issue for macs 12.
