Hello,

I have been looking to upgrade my desktop to a more portable solution but neither my local BestBuy nor Frys have the model in stock that I am looking for. Looking on bestbuy's site, I see the model I want but not the variant I want.

The exact variant I want is:

MSI GT75

CPU: Intel i7-8850H

Memory: 32GB DDR4 

Storage: 2x 512GB NVMe SSD + 1x 2TB 5400rpm HDD

GPU: GeForce GTX 1080

Display: 17.3" Full HD (120 Hz @ 3ms)

Can BestBuy order this from the manufacturer or [wherever] for me? I want to buy from a retailer so I can get the protection plan.

Unfortunaly Best Buy does not order items they don't list. Personally I am on my third MSI Gaming Laptop and I am planning on staying loyal to the brand.

Personally I would not go with the model you listed.  There are a number of models out there that have a 7200 rpm HDD.

32 GB is overkill. Your computer will not take any additional benefit of 32GB of ram for gaming purposes. In truth most games dont make use of more than 8 GB

However, this machine will scream from the processor, GPU and the speed of the motherboard. 

I would personllay scale it back to  3TB is a lot of space. I don't know how many games you plan on playing at a time but I had close to 19 games on my 1TB HDD  before I had to start uninstalling
