Laptop/Monitor compatible?

I have the “Dell - Inspiron 14" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Celeron - 2GB Memory - 32GB eMMC Flash Memory -- Model: I3452-1000BLK -- SKU: 5022400” and I’m considering buying this monitor:  HP - 27" IPS LED HD Monitor - Natural silver -- Model:  T3M86AA#ABA. Two questions:

1-Is this laptop and monitor compatible?

2-Do I need to purchase any special adaptors to make it work?

Re: Laptop/Monitor compatible?

You just need an HDMI cable. It's as simple as that. I don't know if you want to make it an extended monitor or your Primary one but the graphics adapter will allow you to configure as you choose. At least a 6ft HDMI cord is what I suggest for many purposes.
