I actually went with a MacBook after 25 plus years using Windows. No regrets. Absolutely love the Mac now and doubt I will go back to Windows.

You have an interesting set of suggestions there, though I don't see any with your claimed "outstanding performance.".  Too bad none of them are suitable for my purposes.  That's why I will be buying an LG laptop.  I would prefer to buy through BestBuy instead of Amazon, but ...
