Insignia NS-PUV308 Adapter

I currently have 2 monitors connected to my MacBook Air. I use the Insignia NS-PUV308 adapter to connect one of my monitors to a USB port. It's been working great until I upgraded my MacBook to Catalina. In setting it shows that it can see the monitor but it's black and not showing any picture. I've rebooted, reinstalled the driver and it still isn't working. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue and provide any recommendations of what I could try. And this could also just be a simple issue of the current driver not being compatible with Catalina. Not sure if that is the case but the current driver on the site doesn't seem to work. Any thoughts or insight would be very helpful.

Good Afternoon and welcome, angro23,

Thank you for choosing Insignia for your purchase of your adapter. I’m sorry to hear that with the most recent update to Mac OS it’s not working anymore. I understand how frustrating that could be. I’d be happy to point you in the correct direction on this matter.

The Quick Setup Guide shares it should be compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 and later versions. Have you checked to see if you have the most up-to-date driver downloaded? Also, if you’re continuing to have an issue please give our advanced support teams a call at (877) 467-4289. They’d be best positioned to discuss this further and troubleshoot with you in the moment.
