I know nothing about computers but need one.

I am wanting to get a mini notebook or netbook (not sure what the difference is). I just like the small compact size.  I will need it mostly for internet use, pic and video storage, and also for installing quickbooks small business.  I know absolutley nothing about computers. Will a mini be sufficient for what I need?  Enough memory and hard drive?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Personally, I wouldn't get one. They are kind of like a USB flash drive with a screen. I would get an actual laptop/notebook.

Re: I know nothing about computers but need one.

a lot of people are getting those mini and netbooks because they are cheap, they're not real laptops. they have limited hard drive, only like 16 gb.

once u install quick books and like several video files, u'll use up the whole hard drive space.

it's better to get those real laptops. if you want light, either get the 14 inch laptops, or the 13 inch macbook. those are real light weight. they go for around $1000
