Hello from an employee

Hello Everyone,


Nice to meet you all! I am currently a Best Buy Employee, in computing. I've decided I want to continue to help customers even though I am on furlough. I will be active on the forum over the next month or so willing to help and assist with any questions you may have!

Hello. Similar story I sold computers for Circuit City starting around 1994. Back then CC sent all employees to am intense 1 week training session in their department, We also had a publication that came to us every month discussing computes and new emerging technology. We all read it cover to cover. Around that time someone in our area who ran a bulletin board started a computer users group. 2 of us from CC were regular attendees and spent hours helping people understand computers and their problems. Sometimes I feel the other guy and I were to root of Geek Squad. We approached our manager about doing computer upgrades. He got permission from his boss. We started off doing upgrades in the back of the break room and eventually were allotted a space in the warehouse. Just saying I understand you. It was a need to help people with their computer issues that led me to doing so in my off time.
