My HP desktop computer is not communicating to the monitor via HDMI cable. It stopped working two weeks ago and the monitor displays the message entering power save mode. The computer works fine with an old monitor that uses the pin connection.

OK I have replaced both the monitor and cable with new ones and still no luck. Is the HDMI port in the computer easy to replace?

Hey there, Brian62,
We're glad to hear that you've already attempted to troubleshoot some potential issues with this! It's always strange when only one specific part of a PC stops working.
It does sound like it could still be a drivers/updates issue, or perhaps a issue with the motherboard/graphics/port/etc on your actual PC. For both of these things, I generally advise meeting with one of our Geek Squad Agents in-store for further assistance so that we can examine your PC and potential solutions.
