Graphic Card don't know if my graphics are good.

I recently bought a Sony Vaio with Intel® Centrino® Processor Technology and it has Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD with Intel® Clear Video Technology. Most of the games that I want to buy say that the minimum system requirements need to have Nvidia GeForce. Could I still play those certain games that require Nvidia with the graphics my laptop has? How good are my graphics?

Those graphics are in somewhat of a competition with the Radeon HD 2400 series of cards. It will run most games just fine, however other games that require a much beefier version of a video card to play, the Intel will run it like a slug. But I seen people play games like Guitar Hero 3 on it just fine.

My only suggestion if you would like the games to run a little quicker, would be to turn down the graphic settings, while it might not look as nice as something with a better video card, it will still run quickly, and not look like a slide show.

Fairly certain you would be able to play Fable with mid-low, to medium in-game settings . This comes from personal experience with a similar computer. However, for the Call Of Duty games and even Left 4 Dead I am doubtful.

I have never had an Asus laptop but love their motherboards.  They rock!  HP...you would have to give it to me before I would take it.  My opinion, of course.  Video seems to be one of those items that manufacturers are shirking on to get the prices down and be competitive.  If you want to play the hard core, sophisticated games, you are going to have to go for a gamers machine.  The video can make you or break you playing games.  I had to beef up the video on the machine that my husband played Flight Simulator and Rise of Nations on and they aren't the really big games.

asus actually have a model that's on clearance for around 700 that has a nvidia geforce 9600m with 1gb ram with centrino 2 processor.

other than that, you can look for Toshiba Qosmio or the gateway fx.

asus just recently started making laptops, they're actually not so bad.
