It has really intrigued my interest. It seems that it's perfect for those of us who want the familiar Google Brand name with all of our email services and Google Chrome, without the nonsense of a PC and all it's bloated Live Title Apps and so forth.
Any pluses of having a Chromebook versus a laptop? I am very very intrigued and interested. I kind of liked the tease I saw at the store the other day.
Seems because Chrome OS is on the unit, you can get some pretty sweet hardware on it without the big bucks.

I have recently been intrigued by the PIxel Books.

I may have to take a closer look the next time I go to Best Buy. I want to see some more in action.

I have a PIxel phone. I am incredibly impressed at how integrated it is with all things Google. I can only imaging a Pixel Book will be similar.
However, let me state I am not all gaa gaa for Apple products. they are good products but not the changer of the world.
My iPad is about 7 years old now. It was my wife's old one. The batter is finally starting to not hold a charge for very long. That is I can watch 3 eposides of a 1 hour show off Netflix. I use my iPad almost exclusivly for Streaming video and as an eReader. The other issue is the OS is as updated as it is allowed but I am finding apps now that require a newer OS.
So based on the price, for my uses, I may go to another iPad when my current one finally does not do what I want. But if the price on the Pixelbooks goes on sale I am going to give that a real strong hard look when the time comes.
But if I was to do it today I would probalby go with the the Chrombook. Based on price alone.
