If you want to run all the modern games at high settings, it's insufficient.
If you want to run modern games at medium/low settings, or older games (crysis, fear2, left4dead 2), it will be sufficient.
The thing to remember, though, is that if you decide to play more modern games in the future, there is no ability to upgrade the laptop. Once the graphical intensity of the games you want to play surpass the abilities of the laptop, you will have to buy a new computer to play.
