That is going to be one spetacular GPU.
There are 2 GTX 1080 listed right now on the web site so they will be available.
However they listings were just created and not yet available for order.

Hey drydenlee,
Unfortunately we are not able to comment on when a product will be available to purchase in the future or if we will be opening up preorders for a product. My best suggestion is to keep checking BestBuy.com to see if this graphics card is available to order/preorder.
Thanks,

That is a lot of card. I don't even think there are any games out right now that can make use of the full potential.
I played Witcher 3, GTA V, and others on my machine with a 870 at max and it was smooth.
The nice thing about NVIDIA is that they PUSH developers to make better and better.

I want it, 10th generation, I suppose during a year its price will be lower.

Think of it more like if you wait until there is something out there that can make full use of it you may save $200 to $300.
Seems a newer better card is coming out every 8 to 9 months now. I want the card as well but am not prepared to spend that much.

Keep in mind that only many founders edititons of anything are made and only so many are alloted to Best Buy for retail.
Depspite the fact that you didn't get one. Because of the price of the 1080 you can bet retailers did not want to commit too to many of them.
Granted this will be a great GPU but very few people are actualy going to buy them.
And you give it 2 to 6 months and the price will be half. If a reatailer didn't sell what they have they may have to dump them at a loss.
