-what is on the disk? Movies? JPG's? Word documents? Executables? -what software did you use to Burn it? Is it authored? What speed? Is the disc closed? -can your DVD player play just movies? Can it handle data disks?
Can someone tell me why when I burn a disc will it only play on my laptop. When I try to play it on a DVD player, it won't read it. Please help!!!
DVD players only read data discs that have media files on them and they have to be created using certain parameters that make the disc readable to the player's operating system. Also, not all DVD players can read recordable discs though newer ones certainly can.
