DPC_WATCHDOG_ERROR

I purchased a to shiva laptop about 2 years ago with an i3 processor. It used to get an error like the one in the title, but hasn't for a long time. Now this week, I've gotten it five times. The computer stutters, and needs to restart.. Any fix?

I did some research online and it looks like you can start by verifying that your hardware drivers are up to date. This error started in Windows 8.1 and it looks like it carried over to Windows 10. 

 

Also, do you remember adding any new software since you last seen the error?
