Computer selection

Best computer for gaming and video editing and streaming? Also music production on the side. I also code and hack so just a computer that's fast and productive with a reasonable price.

Re: Computer selection

Nice prospect.  The first part of your statement opens up to a $4000 computer.

In reality video editing and streaming does not really chew up a lot of resources. Especially on the streaming aspect.  There it is more dependent on your internet connection.

What do you think of as a reasonable price?  Desktop or Laptop

In my opinion money for a GOOD gaming computer would start off around $1200+ not including a monitor

If you go to the web site and navigate to PC Gaming

You can then select Gaming Laptops and Gaming Desktops.  Keep  in mind with the desktops you will need a monitor as well.

I would hazard any of the Gaming machines will fit your need for video

At this point when you look at the filters on the left one of the more significant aspects is going to be the video card.  The video card in the filter are conveniently sorted pretty much be best to not so best. Video card quality will also effect your video.

the other really significant factor in the Gaming Computers is going to be Memory.  16 GB is pretty standard right now and I would avoid 8 GB

This one should more than rock your world.

Re: Computer selection

I trust your opinion over mine seeing as with me being such a young age I don't have a very good eye for things like this yet. I am looking into the desktop you included and it's really nice so far. I'll keep looking and asking. Thank you so much

Re: Computer selection

I personally use an MSI gaming laptop with a 17" monitor.

Gaming laptops tend to run more money so you get more bang for the buck with a desktop.

The one I linked to is a pretty powerfull machine and should be able to run all current video games at levels that are incredible.

Best of luck and have fun
