I recently wiped my computer (a best buy prebuilt from iBuyPower) and when I tried to reinstall windows to the SSD, it wouldnt work saying that an error occured.
The install media is fine though as it will install to my HDD. I thought this was odd because when I bought the computer, the OS was installed to the SSD so I'm not sure why it wont install again.
Eventually I got it to install using a cloning software, but it didnt clone well as I am now getting lots of memory management issues. I have run sfc /scannow and that found errors, but could not fix them.
I want to just perform a clean install, but I still have no idea how to do it. I have re-downloaded the install media multiple times, and tried all sorts of other things.
I have not found anything online that has helped really.

Hey there, uncrustable,
We're a little late to respond, but in case you or others are still having this issue we wanted to chime in to add to nckhammond's ideas.
If you consider yourself a little more technical, there's a guide to resolving this issue on the official Microsoft forums. That guide does involve some savvy, and we do not condone/recommend following it if you aren't familiar with what you're doing. Messing with your PC internal settings can cause issues that we would not be responsible for.
If you don't feel comfortable following troubleshooting like that, we have expert Geek Squad Agents standing by and ready to help! You can schedule an appointment with them, and they should totally be able to assist with this.

nckhammond is right, 2 things need to be checked, {removed per forum guidelines} is not difficult,go to the bios setting and check the boot list, turn off raid if it's on or.intel irst and make sure the ssd is on the boot list.
