My MAC had issues so I took it into Geek Squad. They said the update for my software had issues and that was the problem. So they backed up everything from my MAC onto Seagate back up drive. This was 2 1/2 years ago. I tried to access the back up drive today and it’s asking for a password to open. For the life of me I can’t remember the password. Is there anything I can do?

Try something common like "Geek Squad" or "GeekSquad" or "geeksquad". Long shot, but if you have the original paperwork, it's likely written down on the customer copy of the service order.

Additionally, try calling up the store and see if there is a common password they might have used or if they noted the password in the internal notes.
