Easy plug and play! Which turned out to be true. It plugged in easy. I then spent hours play-ing around getting it to work. And here is how I did it. I'm posting this because I never did find the answer here.

After you have plugged it in, let Windows 10 find it, then restarted your machine. Only to find out no drivers were installed. Do this.

Open Windows Update. Click View Optional Updates. Then Click Driver Updates. This Insignia adapter is evidently made by Broadcom. Find the line about Broadcom Bluetooth and click that to install. A restart may be needed.

And there it is. It's working for me. Hope it will for you too.

This is for installing a driver for another product which if it works I guess that's fine. I ended up using the Windows Default Bluetooth drivers because there is no driver for these devices, pure and simple. The instructions in the booklet that came with it simply tell you to go to www.insigniaproducts.com for the drivers. Well that was a joke. There's nothing there. Further more, the instructions claim Windows 10 should be able to automatically install the drivers. That doesn't work either. Windows 10 doesn't know what it is.

The Windows Default drivers work as I am replying to this post using a bluetooth wireless keyboard. These Bluetooth modems are some sort of in house stuff made by Best Buy. I'm guessing it's likely Chineese made and if someone could speak mandarian, they could likely find the correct driver for it through the chineese search engines but beyond that, for everyone else in the English Speaking world, just use the Windows Default driver as I don't know what using other prduct drivers may or may not do to this.

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention, in the device manager you will see Bcm20702a0 with an acclimation mark on it. That is the bluetooth device. You will have to manually update it from there and force Windows 10 to use the Windows default bluetooth drivers. I don't know the exact steps for it as I can't remember exactly what I did. I wen't back to attempt to recreate the steps to list them out but since the driver took, its not allowing me to go back through the steps again and if I delete the driver it will just reinstall the default drivers since Windows recognizes they work with it.

Thanks for this pie_or_cake! Like you I was doing a lot of playing before finding your post! The drivers did not automatically download as per BestBuy. Also, at first they did not show up after running Windows updates. Then the first driver to show in the optional updates was a "Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - USB". Shortly after the "Broadcom Corporation driver update for Micro size USB to Bluetooth Dongle" update showed up. Downloaded both and after rebooting - BT worked. Whew!
