Hello, rodriguez-fj,
So that I'm understanding correctly:
You upgraded some internal parts of your laptop (assuming that you added more RAM and replaced the hard drive or added another one) and now you're getting the BitLocker prompt, correct? If so, did you alter at all where your OS was located? As an example, cloning your main partition (which means making a carbon copy of it onto another drive) can bring about issues of this nature. Or if you move the drives around sometimes Windows can change the drive letter (C becomes D and vice versa) which can also trigger this security prompt.

Hello, rodriguez-fj,
My best advice here would be to put the OEM parts back in to the laptop and try to boot it up again. This includes removing any added RAM or storage and ensuring everything is back in the correct connection as it came from the factory. This should allow the system to remove the prompt and let you boot in. However, if that's not an option and the BitLocker key isn't available then the odds of obtaining the data in the drive are very slim. You can give one of our Geek Squad precincts a visit and discuss the possibility of doing a high-level data recovery on the drive. They may be able to at least recover any of the most important files you need but there is no guarantee they'll be able to recover everything.
Best,

Hello,
I see that you have marked my prior response as a solution. Is it safe to say that you were able to get back up and running with one of the provided options? I'd love to know so anyone else having a similar issue can resolve their issue, too!
