Thats the problem, I bought it in one of the stores so that I hadnt had an account until now

If you have online access to your bank account check it and see if it will go back that far with statements.

It is unlikely that Best Buy would still have a copy of your receipt available unless a service plan, such as Geek Squad Protection or Total Tech Support, was included.
