Last year I tried a Lexar 512GB SD card in my NS-P11W7100, and it worked fine, although the card's forever home turned out to be an ultra-portable Vulcan Challenger II. Luckily, the card worked there too, even after I heard the dreaded crunch of the flimsy ejection mechanism.
Well, this time I'm trying the SanDisk 1TB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card. Will it work? Will the entire card be visible, or will I need to play disk partitioning tricks to obtain a usable filesystem? How do I set up a betting pool here?

Welcome back to our community, jlfoster.
As indicated in the tablet's User Guide, this device supports micro SD cards up to 128 GB.
I was unable to locate more information on whether a larger, partitioned SD card may be used successfully, so I recommend contacting Insignia Support at (877) 467-4289 for further assistance with that query.
I hope this helps. Thank you for writing to us.

I have successfully used a Lexar 512GB card with the tablet and reported it in this forum sometime last year.

A preliminary check of the SanDisk 1TB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - C10, U3, V30, 4K, A2, Micro SD - SDSQXA1-1T00-GN6MA shows that it appears to work. The tablet recognizes the card in the bezel slot, Explorer came up, and DIR D:\ and CHKDSK /R D: both worked as expected.
Next, I'll stuff the card full of data checksummed with Microsoft's FCIV utility and see if the tablet can verify the checksums, in case the card slot only properly sees the first 512GB or whatever. Still, not at all bad for a tablet I picked up for $90 from a liquidator!

I've been beating on this card in a few different devices over the past few days, and it's working great in each one, including the NS-P11W7100. A keeper. I might try again when 2TB Micro SD cards are available and at a reasonable price, because I'm nuts like that.

If you need expanded storage for photos and music and you won't use it for gaming may I suggest using Google Drive its helped me quite a bit offloading storage on my tablet.

That is computer math for you. It is complicated to learn but it sounds about right.
