Just had an open box pair of AirPods Max from Best Buy get delivered. Upon set up, found out they were connected to the last person’s iCloud account.
So, I called Best Buy. They told me Geek Squad could help. Went to my local Best Buy, was told Geek Squad and customer service couldn’t help me because they were purchased online.
Called Best Buy again, was told they could help me in store. Told them that wasn’t true. Was then told I could exchange with another open box pair if anywhere in my area had them available (of course they don’t). Was finally told my only option was to have return them via mail, with no possibility of an exchange, a new pair or even trying to unlock the original pair.
Does anyone know of anything else I can do?
