have scheduled(22nd) an install of a sub, five channel Alpine PDR V75, and Polk 6501 speakers in my Jeep Wrangler 2 door. but ordered a sub box from an awesome company but when I got the box it had two holes for 10's and not the one I had planned on. my mistake. I have a Kicker 43CWR102 sub picked out to match the 429w sub channel at 2ohm already in hand now I have to decide if I need to get a second 43CWR102, or return it for something different, or can I block off the second hole and us it as a single sub box. it will be facing the back seat so it will not be very noticiable. the sub I have is rated by crutchfield as having a range of 150-400 watts so would be pushing a little over 200 to each so this should work if I go that route, am I mistaken? appreciate any insights, thanks

Hi there, JimShaffer,
Welcome back to our community forums. I'm sure you're excited for this installation appointment so you can get your sound system upgraded. I'd be happy to help answer your questions.
After doing some research, it does look like you should be able to use this combination of subwoofer and box. With that said, your local Autotech will be able to look at each piece of equipment as well as your vehicle in order to provide the best information and advice about what's possible with this installation. IF you have any questions prior this installation please let them know so they can help you walk through this.
Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help with!

ended up getting two comp r subs and the whole system sounds absolutely awesome, way better than I thought it would be, installer brandon {removed per forum guidelines} was outstanding, clear when loud with no distortion I could detect, more defined sound at even lower volumes, can really pick up on finer points in songs. Brandon always knocks it out of the park!!
