I have a Viper remote starter that is almost 2 years old. 2 Days ago it started not unlocking my drivers door. I click to lock/unlock/and keep cycling and sometimes it will finally unlock, but I have mostly had to walk around and reach across from passenger side. It unlocks all the other doors. It appears to be unlocking the door but it isnt. Regual key fob for the car works fine when its not running.
Any ideas?

being 2 years old makes me suspicious of the battery losing it's strength. Have you tried replacing the battery in the remote. Be sure to replace the battery with the correct size, if you take out two 2016 batteries do not replace it with a 2032, it will still work but cause really weird issues. These older remote starts had many customers replacing the 1 way remote 2032 battery with the 2 way remote two 2016 batteries and had similar symptoms.
First thing is first, if you haven't already, I would replace the battery. If you're still running into the same situation, I would stop by or call your local Best Buy to schedule a time for the car to be looked at under the lifetime labor warranty workmanship to see if we can't take a closer look to fix this for you!

Please do give your local Best Buy a call to schedule an appointment with your Geek Squad Autotech. They should be able to get this taken care of during that appointment duration time frame.
